About

We are an independent Christian Church. Our desire is to answer

Jesus’ prayer found in John 17:17-21

that His followers would be united

on the truth of God’s Word. We want

to see believers become one so that

the world might become won.

Our Beliefs

GOD

There is one God, an infinite personal Being, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, and love. We believe that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men, that He hears and answers prayer.  He exists eternally in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal, and each possesses all of the attributes of God. God is the Creator and Sustainer of the universe and everything in it.

CHRIST

the SON

We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and, in His incarnation, was also fully man having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures. Three days after His death, He was resurrected from the dead. He ascended into heaven, and now acts as our mediator.

the HOLY

SPIRIT

We believe that the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to apply to people the saving work of Christ. He bears witness to the truth of the Gospel in preaching and testimony by bringing conviction of a person's need for forgiveness. His ongoing work is to guide, lead, and empower the believer for godly living and service.

the BIBLE

We believe the 66 books of the Bible, in both Old and New Testaments, are given by God's inspiration and that in the original writings they are without error. We believe the Scriptures originated with God.  The Bible is our standard and guide for our faith and our lives on all matters of Christian faith and practice.

SIN &

FORGIVENESS

Sin is the state of rebellion against God.  God desires a perfect relationship with everyone, but that relationship is broken through disobedience to God. Through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, we can be forgiven, our sins wiped away, and we can be restored to a right relationship with God.

BAPTISM

We believe that baptism by immersion is God’s method for giving one's heart and life to God, trusting Christ, and receiving God's many promises. These promises include forgiveness of sins, the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, and many more. Baptism is done out of obedience to Jesus Christ. Baptism alone does not save, but it is an expected part of the salvation process that comes by grace through faith.
